Co-founder and Managing Partner

Christine Pommerening is the co-founder and Managing Partner at novaturient. She is also a policy professional and adjunct professor at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government. Her research interests include organizational and institutional theory and the role of information and communications technology, and she teaches graduate courses in public administration and public policy. She has been involved in academic research and project management in the United States and Germany on issues of homeland security, national and international governance structures, regional economic development, and science and technology policy.

Christine holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from George Mason University, and an M.A. in Sociology from Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany. She is a member of the American Political Science Association, the American Sociological Association, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Soziologie, and the International Education Honor Society Phi Beta Delta.

Co-founder and Managing Director

Todd Berry is the co-founder and Managing Director at novaturient. He has over 18 years of experience leading companies through periods of dynamic change. He is a Prosci® Certified Change Management Professional, Project Management Professional, and has professional certifications in Agile development methodologies. Over the years Todd has gained significant enterprise wide application experience leading teams of 40+ consultants developing and implementing global solutions for clients utilizing software from Oracle, Siebel Systems, SAP, PeopleSoft, Blackboard, and custom solutions using Java and .NET. He has led implementation and integration projects for homeland security and military clients, large universities, and K-12 school districts. He has also managed complex consulting engagements for large government agencies and Fortune 500 corporations.

Additionally, Todd has been a key member on various implementation teams for large European firms implementing Enterprise Resource Planning software and consulted domestic and international clients on the importance of managing organizational change via communication and training during the implementation, setup, deployment, and maintenance of complex systems.

Todd has a doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Conflict Analysis and Resolution. His research focuses on the effects of organizational structure and change on internal conflict. He also has a Master of Science degree in Technology Management and MBA degree from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor’s degree from Longwood College where he majored in Computer Science and German and minored in International Economics. Todd has significant international work experience implementing global information technology solutions, managing change, and developing strategy in large, multinational corporations in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Belgium. He is fluent in German.
